The Jugnu Project (TJP) is Pakistan’s Digital Domestic Violence Resource Centre.
It was launched by Zohra Ahmed after the passing of her maternal aunt (“Jugnu”), who suffered for 30 years in a loveless and violent marriage.
The Jugnu Project acts mostly as a facilitation center, connecting survivors of domestic violence and abuse to various resources aimed at helping them rebuild a life of dignity and respect. These sources include legal aid, deep trauma therapy, financial literacy and various other resources to help them navigate the toxic relationships and start a journey of healing.
TJP also conducts workshops, trainings and seminars to spread awareness about this issue.
